The Certificate of Competency in Handspinning is a comprehensive study course by the NSW Handweavers and Spinners Guild of NSW Inc. the prupose of this course is to encourage and maintain a consitent standard of spinning knowledge and skills. By doing this one can learn to be an intentional spinner. This course lasts 2 years to do both parts. An Advanced Certificate is available to study after completion of this course. 

It is made up of two parts.
1. Wool study and knowledge, Use and Care of Equipment
2. Cotton, Alpaca and Mohair study with a completed articles from your spinning. 

I have signed up for Part 1. as of the 11th of March 2016 and when I can I will share my assessed work and experience on this page with links to blog posts.
